Pricing — common questions
What counts as one "ranking"?
One question asked to one AI engine. A scan of 25 questions across 2 engines uses 50 rankings. Your plan quota measures rankings.
What if I run out of monthly rankings?
If you have a positive balance, additional rankings are metered against it — you see a single live number. If your balance is empty, the scan stops and you see an upgrade prompt. No surprise overages.
How much does a typical scan cost?
On a subscription plan, scans are bundled into your monthly quota — no per-scan cost. On Pay-as-you-go, a 25-question scan across 2 engines (50 rankings) costs roughly $1.10. A 50-question scan across 3 engines is roughly $3.30.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Click Manage subscription on any plan card or in Settings to open the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancel, change payment method, or download invoices.
What is the difference between Pro and Max?
Pro covers most agencies and active operators: 3,500 rankings, advanced recommendations on Opus, unlimited snapshots, AI trend summaries. Max adds Advanced AEO (per-question competitor, schema, and third-party audits), the AI CLI prompt generator, scheduled scans with email reports, and 8,000 monthly rankings.
How does Pay-as-you-go work?
No monthly subscription. Top up a balance via Stripe ($25, $50, $100, $250 increments). Every ranking is metered as you run it — you see a single live cost number on every scan. Maintaining a $250+ balance unlocks Max features (scheduled scans, email reports, AI CLI prompts, Advanced AEO).
Do unused rankings roll over?
No. Monthly plans reset on your billing-period anniversary. Pay-as-you-go balances never expire.
Are there usage limits inside a plan beyond ranking count?
AI CLI prompt generation has a soft cap of 50 per user per day (Max and PAYG only). Everything else is bounded by your ranking quota and balance.
